
MOSCOW, July 25 Czech striker Dmitry Yashkin became a player of SKA St. Petersburg, reportedly in the official Telegram channel of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club. The agreement with the 29-year-old striker is valid until April 30, 2023. Earlier, SKA head coach Roman Rotenberg published a video on the Telegram channel with an excerpt from the film «Gentlemen» and superimposed text, in which it was reported that Yashkin would move to the St. Petersburg club. The athlete spent the past season at the Arizona Coyotes club of the National Hockey League (NHL), in which, due to injury, he played 12 matches and made one assist. Also in the NHL, Yashkin played for the Washington Capitals and St. Louis Blues. In the KHL, the Czech forward played in the 2019/20 and 2020/21 seasons as part of Dynamo Moscow, which owned the rights to the player. In total, he played 133 games in the league, in which he scored 137 points (77 goals and 60 assists).
