MOSCOW, 26 Jul. Two-time world and European champion in figure skating, Russian Evgenia Medvedeva spoke about the largest fee in her career.
" You go to the Grand Prix final and don't even know the prize fund. I don't remember. In my opinion, for the first place in the World Championships, I earned 24 thousand dollars. Not small money, but you won’t live on it for a long time", Medvedeva said in an interview with the Forbes YouTube channel.
Medvedeva is 22 years old. For the last two seasons, she did not compete, but did not officially announce her retirement.
