MOSCOW, July 25 Organizing Committee of the Summer Olympics and Paralympics in Paris presented the slogan of the Games 2024, according to the website of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). The slogan of the Games will be the phrase Games wide open in English (literally — «Widely open Games» or «Games open to all») or Ouvrons grand les jeux — in French (literally — «Let's open the Games wide»).» This new slogan clearly shows the desire of Paris 2024 to renew the model of the Games in accordance with the 2020 Olympic agenda, opening them to the largest possible number of people. Opening ceremony on the banks of the Seine, competitions held in iconic locations across the city, and events in Paris will bring people together both on and off the venues, in person and online,” said IOC chief Thomas Bach. “This approach will be key to inspiring the next generation, enabling even more count number of people in France and around the world to experience the Olympic spirit and values. This will help to leave a lasting legacy after the 2024 Games,” he added. The Paris Olympics will take place from July 26 to August 11, 2024. The Paralympics will be held in the French capital from August 28 to September 8, 2024.
