Bashkir activist Airat Dilmukhametov, who is serving a sentence in IK-5 in Chita, was isolated from other prisoners. About this “Idel. Realities,” said Dilmukhametov’s associates, who correspond with him.

First, the activist was sent to a cell-type room (PKT) and from time to time was transferred to a punishment cell (SHIZO). In early July, the activist was transferred to a single cell-type room (EPKT). In total, he will spend six months in isolation from other prisoners.

In his letter, Dilmukhametov does not name the reasons for the transfer to EPKT. His interlocutors claim that the activist, despite the conditions of detention, «remains optimistic.»
