MOSCOW, Jul 27 German football players beat the French team and reached the final European Championship, which takes place in England. The meeting in Milton Keynes ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the Germans, in which Alexandra Popp scored a double (40th, 76th minutes). At the 44th minute, the goalkeeper of the German team Merle Froms sent the ball into her own net. In the final, the German team will meet with the English team. The match will take place on July 31 at Wembley in London. Earlier, the UEFA executive committee decided not to allow Russian football clubs and national teams to participate in international matches in the 2022/23 season. The Russian women's team misses the final part of Euro 2022, its place in the tournament was taken by the Portuguese team.
