MOSCOW, July 31 on the transfer of the Uruguayan defender of Dynamo Moscow Guillermo Varela. The footballer will play on loan for Flamengo until June 2023. His contract with the Russian club runs until June 30, 2023. The 29-year-old football player left the location of the “white-blue” before the match of the second round of the Russian championship against Torpedo. Dynamo stated that they consider his actions as a breach of contractual obligations. Varela moved to Dynamo from Copenhagen in 2021. As part of the Moscow club, he took part in 49 matches, in which he gave three assists. In June, the International Football Federation (FIFA) extended the permission to suspend contracts with Russian clubs for foreign players until June 2023.
