The Tverskoy District Court of Moscow sent Vasily Fedorov, Yevgeny Moiseev and Irina Andina, associates of Vladimir Vorontsov, the creator of the Police Ombudsman public service, which publishes stories of law enforcers about violations of service, to a pre-trial detention center. Fedorov is involved in the case of a deliberately false denunciation with the artificial creation of evidence for the prosecution (part 3 of article 306 of the Criminal Code), as well as the organization of this crime (part 3 of article 33 of the Criminal Code). ), Moiseev and Andina — only under the article on false denunciation. All three are arrested until the end of September. They face up to six years in prison.
In October 2021, a video “Save the Police Ombudsman” appeared on YouTube, in which ex-police officers Fedorov and Moiseev told how a former police officer Andina, whom Vorontsov helped to protest the dismissal, reported a fictitious episode of extortion in the amount of 30 thousand rubles by Vorontsov and threats post her intimate photos.

Later, Andina retracted her testimony and said that she had given it in the hope of being reinstated in her service. Lawyer Fyodor Aksenenko said: “We know that Vorontsov did not commit extortion, because he provided real assistance to her, and he took payment for each action, and when we got acquainted with her testimony, this was not reflected.”

In May 2020, Vorontsov was detained. Initially, there were 14 episodes in his case. On July 18 of this year, the prosecutor's office abandoned most of them, including the episode with Andina.
Now the investigation accuses the ex-policeman of three episodes about distribution of pornography and one episode each about insulting a representative of the authorities and extortion. The prosecutor's office asked to sentence Vorontsov to six years in prison and forbid him to administer websites for ten years.
