The Tverskoy District Court granted the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and changed the measure of restraint for the arrested rector Shaninka Sergey Zuev to house arrest. This was reported by a Mediazona correspondent from the courtroom.
The rector's lawyer asked to allow his client to go for walks «to visit medical institutions and for humanitarian purposes», since otherwise they «will have to request the investigator's permission daily to consult a doctor,” a Mediazona correspondent reports. Zuev is accused of two episodes of particularly large-scale fraud while working at Shaninka and the RANEPA.
