The launch vehicle was launched at 2.08 Moscow time from the Cape Canaveral launch site in Florida. It launches the KPLO (Korea Pathfinder Lunar Orbiter) into a ballistic lunar transfer orbit. The probe was created by the Korean Space Agency for observing and researching the Moon. As SpaceX reported on the eve of the launch, the first stage of the carrier rocket, which has been involved for the fifth time, is involved in the launch. It will re-land shortly after launch for future use.
