MOSCOW, Aug 6 Sierra Leone national football team forward Mohamed Buja missed own wedding for the sake of signing a contract with the Swedish club Malmö. She told about this in an interview with Aftonbladet. At the end of July, the footballer moved to Malmö from the Chinese Henan Songshan Longmeng. According to Bui, he was unable to attend the wedding ceremony due to the need to sign a contract, so he decided to send his brother to the wedding instead.
"We got married on July 21 in Sierra Leone. But I wasn't there because "Malmö" asked to come early. They did a photo session in advance, as if I were there. However, my brother replaced me at the wedding itself", the athlete admitted.
The contract with Malmö is valid until December 2025. Buja has already played in the Swedish championship for several clubs. In 2019, together with Djurgården, he became the national champion.
