MOSCOW, Aug 6 Evgeny Melezhikov, General Director of Spartak Moscow, confirmed the information about negotiations with Lukoil on the sale of the club's home stadium. The arena belongs to the owner of Spartak, Leonid Fedun. The stadium was opened on September 5, 2014 with a friendly match against Serbian Crvena Zvezda.
"Lukoil" trying to acquire the rights to the arena. Negotiations are underway, it's true. We had a productive dialogue. If we continue to at least communicate with them, this will not interfere with us", said Melezhikov, quoted by "Sport-Express".
Earlier, the media have repeatedly reported changes in the leadership of Muscovites. It is assumed that Fedun will leave the post of chairman of the board of directors of Spartak.
