Vice Mayor of Bucha Mikhailina Skorik-Szkarovska said at a press conference following the identification of the bodies of local residents that 458 people have died in the city since the beginning of the war, Suspilne Novini reports.
According to Skorik- Shkarovskaya, 419 people were killed during the offensive of the Russian army on Bucha, among the dead there are 12 residents of the city, whose age is up to 21 years.

116 bodies were found in a mass grave near the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called and All Saints, the Vice Mayor specified. She also added that more than 50 corpses were not preserved, in five cases the experts could not establish the sex of the dead.
In April, the Kyiv regional administration reported 400 dead in Bucha. “During the period of occupation, the invaders killed more than 400 residents of the Bucha society,” the publication said.
Bucha, a small town near Kyiv, was under the control of the Russian military for about a month. In early April, when the army left the city, the bodies of killed local residents were left on the streets, some of them with their hands tied behind their backs. Later, there was evidence of war crimes in Bucha, including torture, rape and executions.
