Deputy Defense Minister Alexei Krivoruchko, the former owner of the Kalashnikov concern, has an apartment in Miami. This is stated by associates of the opposition leader Alexei Navalny on the Navalny Live YouTube channel.
Krivoruchko became Shoigu's deputy in 2018. As Kommersant wrote, he oversees the purchase of weapons for the army. Before that, Krivoruchko was the general director of Kalashnikov and owned the concern together with Rostec. After his appointment, he transferred his 75% share in trust to the CEO of the parent company of the concern. «data-type=»photo» data-slate-custom=»{«imgSrc»:»https://s3.zona.media/i/ef2c86ed660b63a2c0a55ebc344a5991″,»alt»:»»}» alt =»1″ />

Krivoruchko spoke about the sale of Kalashnikov shares only at the end of 2020. An unnamed Kommersant source explained the long period by the fact that «the search for a buyer and the agreement on the parameters of the transaction in such cases usually take time.»
From 2012 to 2018, Krivoruchko flew to the United States 26 times, Navalny's associates claim, citing flight statistics. Mostly in Miami. Krivoruchko, according to them, opened a company in the United States in 2011, which bought an apartment of 255 square meters on the elite island of Fisher Island.
Its cost «Navalny Live» was estimated at «several million dollars». “After some time,” according to investigators, Krivoruchko handed over the company to his friend Mikhail Tiraturyan, manager of the RWC Group, which includes Kalashnikov USA. Bloomberg, in an article about Tiraturyan, estimated the cost of the apartment at $ 2.4 million, without giving other details.
Navalny Live also claims that Krivoruchko flew to Miami twice — in 2012 and 2016 — at the time of birth daughters Anna and Sophia. The first, according to them, received a US passport. In total, as Kommersant wrote, Shoigu's deputy has three children.
After Krivoruchko was appointed Shoigu's deputy in July 2018, according to Navalny Live, he and his wife were not in the United States. In 2014, the United States imposed sanctions against the Kalashnikov concern.
In addition, the investigators recalled that the official owns a house on Rublyovka with an area of almost one and a half thousand square meters.
