MOSCOW, Aug 10 Four-time Grand Slam winner Japanese tennis player Naomi Osaka withdrew from the match against Estonian Kaia Kanepi in the first round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Toronto (Canada), the prize fund of which exceeds 2.5 million dollars. The meeting ended with a score of 7:6 (7:4), 3:0 in favor of Kanepi. In the first set, Osaka took a medical time-out, after which she continued the game, however, in the second set, she refused to continue the match due to back pain. The meeting lasted 1 hour 11 minutes.
