MOSCOW, August 10 SKA striker Mikhail Vorobyov confessed to buying a military ID, for which he faces jail time. This was reported by the 360 portal. Earlier it was reported that a criminal case was opened against hockey players Vorobyov, Anvar Suleymanov and Vladislav Lukin for giving bribes «for release or deferment from serving in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.» All hockey players are under travel ban . Under Part 4 of Article 291 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, they face terms of 7 to 12 years in prison with a fine of up to 60 times the amount of the bribe. The hearing in the case of Vorobyov was postponed due to the absence of one of the witnesses. In the 2021/22 season in the KHL, Vorobyov played for SKA St. Petersburg, where he scored 19 points (6 goals + 13 assists) in 41 matches.
