MOSCOW, Aug 14 The Canadian ice hockey team beat the Czech team in the third match group stage of the World Youth Championship (under 20), which takes place in Edmonton, Canada. Group A meeting ended with a score of 5:1 (2:1, 2:0, 1:0) in favor of the Canadians. Mason McTavish scored a double (17th and 32nd minutes) as part of the winners, Kent Johnson (20), Ridley Greig (25) and Tyson Foerster (48) also scored goals. The Czechs scored Martin Ryshavy (6). In the fifth minute before the end of the game, the forward of the Czech national team Jaroslav Chmielarzh was sent off. The Canadians won three matches out of three and lead group A with 9 points. The Czechs, who won one game, are in third place with four points. In the group B match between the teams of Germany and Switzerland, the Germans won with a score of 3: 2.
