MOSCOW, Aug 15 Belarusian specialist Viktor Gancharenko has been appointed head coach of the Yekaterinburg «Ural», according to the Telegram channel of the football club. The terms of the agreement with the 45-year-old coach are not reported. In this position, Gancharenko replaced Igor Shalimov, who was fired in early August after four defeats in a row at the start of the new season of the Russian Premier League. On Monday, Viktor Goncharenko will be officially introduced to the Ural players, after which he will hold the first training session. Previously, the specialist worked at Ural from June to September 2015. Gancharenko previously headed CSKA, Krasnodar, Ufa, Krasnodar Kuban and Belarusian BATE. He led BATE six times to the gold of the championship of Belarus, with CSKA he won the Russian Super Cup and twice the silver medals of the national championship.
