MOSCOW, Aug 16 The American Sports Safety Center suspended Swedish coach Andreas Gustafsson after allegations of sexual abuse. Gustafsson worked with American track and field athlete Robin Stevens. Earlier, the athlete told the Times of San Diego that she had been sexually abused by her coach for two and a half years. The Swedish specialist faces a life-long suspension from work. Gustaffson himself claims that he was in an intimate relationship with Stevens by mutual agreement. Stevens is 39 years old. She competed in race walking at the Tokyo Olympics. The track and field athlete is a five-time US champion.
