In Rostov-on-Don, police officers detained a young couple suspected of setting fire to a Toyota Corolla car with a Z sticker on the rear window belonging to another policeman. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Rostov region.
According to investigators, 24-year-old and 22-year-old Rostovites for several days watched a parking lot near one of the city's police departments. Having chosen the moment, the young man splashed the combustible mixture on the hood of the car. The girl at that moment filmed everything on the camera phone. Then the suspects left the Rostov region.

The police say that after returning to Rostov-on-Don, the couple hid in the forest for several days, where they were detained. Operational footage shows that the suspects spent the night in the chimney. During a search, they found a revolver and cartridges for it, as well as phones with «subscriptions to nationalist sites.»
According to the police, the actions of the suspects were coordinated by the Ukrainian Telegram channel, and they received 15,000 rubles in cryptocurrency for setting fire to the policeman's car.
Rostov residents are accused of deliberate destruction of property (Part 2 of Article 167 of the Criminal Code), they were sent to a pre-trial detention center.
