MOSCOW, Aug 18 Alexander Ermakovich joined the Ural coaching staff, reported on the website of the Yekaterinburg football club. The terms of the contract with the 47-year-old Belarusian specialist are not specified. On Monday, Belarusian Viktor Gancharenko replaced Russian Igor Shalimov as head coach of Ural, signing a two-year deal. Yermakovich has been working with Gancharenko at Belarusian BATE since 2009. Together they became the champions of Belarus four times, defeated German Bayern and French Lille in the Champions League, and also reached the playoffs of the Europa League. In 2013, Ermakovich headed the club from Borisov. Under his leadership, BATE won the Belarusian championship five times and the country's Super Cup four times. In January 2018, Yermakovich left the Belarusian club and became Gancharenko's assistant at CSKA Moscow. In April 2021, Yermakovich again began working with Gancharenko, but already in Krasnodar.
