MOSCOW, Aug 18 Anna Vyakhireva recognized as the most valuable player (MVP) of the past season of the Russian Championship among women's teams, according to the website of the Russian Handball Federation. The choice in favor of Vyakhireva was made on the basis of a vote by the coaches of the Russian Championship teams, taking into account the opinion of the jury of sports journalists and the results of an Internet survey of fans. In the 2021/22 season, the right welterweight played seven matches in the Super League, in which she scored 53 goals. Vyakhireva is 27 years old. She won the third MVP title of the Russian championship. Previously, she became the best handball player in the 2015/16 and 2019/20 seasons. According to this indicator, she caught up with Daria Dmitrieva.
