MOSCOW, Aug 21 British mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Leon Edwards ahead of schedule defeated Kamaru Usman and took away the title of champion of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the welterweight division from the American. Usman failed to defend the championship title for the sixth time. Usman has 20 wins and two losses. The new champion of the promotion, Edwards, had 24 fights at the professional level (20 wins with three losses, one more confrontation was declared invalid).
