Archival photo SIMFEROPOL, Aug 24 Nobody will fulfill the ultimatum of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the withdrawal of the Russian armed forces from the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP, as this is a suicidal decision, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region, told RIA Novosti .Earlier, Zelensky called on the international community to put pressure on Moscow so that Russian troops forcibly leave the ZNPP territory.
"Zelensky's ultimatum, translated into human language, means only one thing: to return control of the nuclear power plant to the Ukrainian side so that they can continue their experiments to create a dirty bomb and hold the whole world hostage. Giving up the nuclear plant, which Zelensky’s militants have been shooting at for four months, is tantamount to suicide, and such a decision will not be made,” Rogov said.
According to him, today Russian air defense systems provide protection for the nuclear power plant from Ukrainian shelling.
"This is the only guarantee of safety at the nuclear power plant from terrorist attacks by Zelensky's militants. Zelensky is a bankrupt swindler, flooding the earth with the blood of ordinary people and making money on it. Russia is a sovereign state and no one dares to speak with it the language of ultimatums", Rogov stressed.
In recent weeks, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been regularly attacking the ZNPP, which threatens with a large-scale nuclear catastrophe. The shelling has already damaged the high-voltage line of the Kakhovskaya substation, the personnel had to reduce the capacity of two power units. Civil-military administrations are working there, broadcasting of Russian TV channels and radio stations has begun, the ruble has been put into circulation, and trade ties with Crimea are being restored. The liberated regions announced their plans to become part of Russia.June 22, 17:18InfographicInteractive map of the special operation of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine
