MOSCOW, Aug 25 Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the main owner with the Order of Friendship «Severstal» Alexei Mordashov, the decree is published on the official portal of legal information. «For a great contribution to the development of the metallurgical industry and many years of conscientious work, award the Order of Friendship to Alexei Alexandrovich Mordashov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Severstal Public Joint Stock Company, Vologda Region,» reads one from the points of the document. Mordashov is the main beneficiary of Severstal, one of the world's largest vertically integrated steel and mining companies with major assets in Russia and a small number of enterprises abroad. He owns 77.03% of the shares in it.
