Spartak signed a full-fledged contract with Rubtsov


MOSCOW, 24 Aug. Spartak Moscow signed a full-fledged contract with striker Herman Rubtsov, according to the official Telegram channel of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) club. Spartak received the rights to Rubtsov as part of an exchange with SKA St. Petersburg at the end of July. The hockey player has been on trial since August. The agreement concluded with the 24-year-old striker following the results of pre-season matches is designed for one year and is bilateral in nature. Spartak also signed a contract with 20-year-old striker Maxim Krovyakov. The agreement with him is designed for four years, the hockey player also joined the club as a result of an exchange with SKA. Last season, Rubtsov played in the American Hockey League (AHL) as part of the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and Charlotte Checkers. In total, he played in 43 games and scored 7 points (2 goals + 4 assists). In the National Hockey League (NHL), he played four games for the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2019/20 season. Previously, Rubtsov played in the KHL with Sochi and Vityaz near Moscow. The forward has 61 matches and 11 points (3+8).
