MOSCOW, 26 Aug. SKA Petersburg signed a contract with the silver medalist of the 2022 Olympics as part of the Russian national hockey team by defender Alexander Nikishin, according to the club's website. The contract with the 20-year-old hockey player is valid until April 30, 2025. Nikishin moved to SKA from Spartak Moscow at the end of July in exchange for forwards Fedor Svechkov, Nikita Chibrikov, Pavel Kukshtel, Maxim Krovyakov and defender Nikita Sedov, as well as sports rights for forwards Kirill Marchenko, Ivan Morozov, Mikhail Maltsev and German Rubtsov. In addition, the Moscow club received monetary compensation. Last season, Nikishin played a total of 49 matches in the Continental Hockey League, in which he scored 9 goals and gave 5 assists.
