VASILIEVKA, Aug 27 A woman whose family is returning to Severodonetsk in the LPR from Ukraine told reporters that they dreamed of getting home and would be very happy to accept Russian citizenship. Now the family is in the «gray» zone at the only checkpoint in the front-line city of Vasilyevka, Zaporozhye region. «We are returning home, we had hostilities, our houses were the first to be bombed , it happened in late February-early March … We did not have time to collect things, documents, we even left two small dogs, we thought we would return. We saved children, the elderly, carried everything, 15 bags each, strollers. We did not think, we were not going to (to leave), we thought that we would sit out in the basements … «, the woman recalls. According to her, in Ukraine they were treated kindly, but 12 places had to be changed. “We made a decision a long time ago (to return) home… and already exhausted we are returning, we are very happy and we are not afraid of anything without light, without water… because we really want to go home. With great pleasure (we will receive Russian citizenship), we are all relatives, we are all Russians,» she stressed. As previously reported by the head of the administration of the city of Vasilyevka, Natalia Romanichenko, up to 700 people return daily from Ukraine to the liberated territories through Vasilyevka.
