MOSCOW, 28 Aug. Oncologist Madina Radjabova named the primary signs of thyroid cancer. Her comment leads the National Research Center of Oncology. N.N. Petrova. The specialist noted that the risk of oncology is increased by living in areas with iodine deficiency, exposure to radiation, the growth of thyroid nodules and the presence of other malignant tumors. In the early stages it is almost impossible to diagnose the disease, later it can manifest itself through hoarseness, difficulty in passing food, swollen lymph nodes and the presence of a dense formation below the Adam's apple. As a preventive measure, the doctor suggests regular consultations with an oncologist, ultrasound of the thyroid gland and a blood test for hormones.
