MOSCOW, Aug 29 English West Ham United announced on their official website on the transfer of Brazil international Lucas Paqueta. The midfielder, who celebrated his 25th birthday on Saturday, has signed a five-year contract with an option to extend for another year. As noted in a press release, the purchase was a record for West Ham. According to information on the official website of Lyon, the transfer amount was 61.6 million euros, of which 18.6 were in the form of bonuses. Also, Lyon will receive 10% of the possible subsequent transfer of the player. Milan will also receive a share of the profits from the deal, from which Paqueta moved to Lyon in 2020. Last season, Paqueta made 44 appearances for Lyon in all competitions, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists. In 33 caps for Brazil, Paqueta scored seven goals.
