The Ministry of Internal Affairs found out the names of five more people who donated money to FBK on the same day as Andrey Zayakin, a Novaya Gazeta journalist and Dissernet founder. This follows from the materials of the criminal case, which are at the disposal of Mediazona.
The documents say that the data on Zayakin's transfer could become available to the security forces due to a technical failure on the first day of the new fundraising FBK. Together with the journalist, the security forces identified five more people — this is 50-year-old Aleksey from the Magadan region, 55-year-old Sergey, 47-year-old Andrei, 39-year-old Pyotr and 20-year-old Oleg from the Novosibirsk region.

The Zayakin case is the first criminal case in Russia due to FBK donations. The journalist is under a ban on certain actions under the article on the financing of extremist activities (Part 1 of Article 282.3 of the Criminal Code). The reason for the case was a donation of a thousand rubles to the fund on the day when the decision to recognize the organization as extremist came into force. Zayakin faces up to eight years in prison.
