The journalist believes that the Western foreign policy elites no longer understand what the interests of the peoples they should serve, and this has made them geopolitically illiterate. He concludes that the Western foreign policy establishment does not seem to be ready to master the art of diplomacy, and only mistakes and self-harm can be expected from them in the coming years.
