MOSCOW, Sep 2 Barcelona announced the signing of the contract on the official website with Spain's Marcos Alonso. On Thursday, Barcelona announced the transfer of Gabon striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to London's Chelsea for 12 million euros. Earlier media reported that Chelsea negotiated with the Catalan club to exchange Aubameyang for Alonso. On Friday, Chelsea terminated the contract with the defender by mutual agreement of the parties. Alonso, 31 years old, moved to Chelsea from the Italian Fiorentina in 2016 . As part of the Blues, the defender became the champion of England, the owner of the National Cup, the winner of the Champions League, the Europa League and the UEFA Super Cup. He made 212 appearances for the London club, scoring 29 goals and providing 23 assists.
