Archival photoMOSCOW, Sept 6Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal claims that the country has suffered $326 billion in damage as a result of hostilities since the start of the Russian special operation, Strana.ua reports. Shmygal stated this on Monday at a meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council in Brussels. It is reported that the Ukrainian authorities managed to give such an assessment together with experts from the World Bank. Shmygal added that $105 billion of this amount will need to be spent on restoring the destroyed infrastructure.On Monday, the eighth meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council was held in Brussels, with the head of European diplomacy Josep Borrell taking part in it.Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would need «approximately» 600-800 billion dollars, the exact amount will be known after the cessation of hostilities.
