The Primorsky Court overturned the decision to extend the compulsory treatment of shaman Gabyshev in a hospital with intensive monitoring

The Primorsky Regional Court canceled the compulsory treatment of the Yakut shaman Alexander Gabyshev in a specialized hospital. His lawyer Aleksey Pryanishnikov announced this on his telegram channel.

The defender specified that the court satisfied the appeals and sent the case for a new trial to the court of first instance. Now the Ussuriysk District Court will reconsider the claim.

In August, the Primorsky Regional Court extended Gabyshev's detention in a psychiatric hospital. The shaman was forcibly sent to a specialized type institution with intensive supervision in 2021. At first, the shaman was in Novosibirsk, but after this court decision, he was transferred to Ussuriysk.

Gabyshev was accused of using violence against a National Guard fighter (Part 2 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, when 50 law enforcers came to his house for forced hospitalization, the shaman wounded the law enforcer with a homemade bladed weapon.

As a result, Gabyshev was declared insane and was forcibly hospitalized. In 2019, for the first time, a shaman headed towards Moscow to «exile» President Vladimir Putin. In total, he twice announced a campaign against Moscow.
