In Kazan, Dmitry Pervukhin, a member of the Yabloko party and coordinator of the Association of Observers of Tatarstan, was searched. This was reported by the press service of the Tatarstan «Yabloko».
Chairman of the republican branch of the party Ruslan Zinatullin said that the search was connected with a criminal case on the public justification of terrorism, according to which nine people were searched in Kazan on August 17, who cooperated with the projects of Radio Liberty, including the authors of Idel.Realii Marina Yudkevich, Aisyla Kadyrova and Iskander Yasaveev (Part 2 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code).
The investigative actions were related to the publication of the video «Paint and booth for the Russian ambassador to Poland” on the YouTube channel “Objective-TV” about the attack on Sergei Andreev, who was doused with red paint on May 9 during a ceremony at the Soviet military cemetery in Warsaw.
Zinatullin claims that Pervukhin has nothing to do with the publication of this material. According to the chairman, the equipment was confiscated from his fellow party member and they are interrogating him in the apartment, the procedural status of Pervukhin is unknown.
During the August search, columnist Marina Yudkevich, who is a witness in the case, was seized not only bank cards and equipment, but also her passport. Because of this, the journalist, who was diagnosed with cancer, was not able to leave for treatment in an Israeli clinic on time. -publish-context-cite__image» alt=»1″ />Idel case .Realities.
