Alcaraz and Ruud to play in US Open final

Spanish tennis player Carlos Alcaraz reached the final of the US Open (US Open), the final Grand Slam tournament of the season, held on hard courts in New York. Francis Tiafoe, who received the 22nd seed, with a score of 6:7 (6:8), 6:3, 6:1, 6:7 (5:7), 6:3. Tennis players spent 4 hours and 19 minutes on the court.

In the final of the US Open, the 19-year-old Spaniard will play with the Norwegian tennis player Kasper Ruud (5th seed). Alcaraz reached the final of a Grand Slam tournament for the first time in his career. Before that, he stopped at the 1/4 final stage at the US Open — 2021 and the French Open — 2022.
