He added that alcohol consumption is a common cause of caries and gum disease, about which not everyone likes to mention. Moreover, before a major operation, it is necessary to warn about the last drink drunk, since anesthesia may not be absorbed with alcohol. In addition, Khurana recommends not deceiving the specialist about hygiene methods. Misleading the doctor will make it difficult to find the source of the disease and may lead to incorrect treatment.
