The United States is interested in aggravating the situation in Ukraine and expanding the theater of hostilities, economics professor Christian Kreis writes on the pages of Deutsche Wirtschafts Nachrichten. A war involving NATO, the expert believes, could be a solution to official Washington's problems with overproduction and debts. The United States is counting on the conflict in Central Europe to wipe out much of its manufacturing capacity. But the most important thing the White House is trying to avoid is cooperation between Russia and Germany. Therefore, now Washington is planning to ruin the FRG, Kreis concluded. He also noted that every day the economic forecasts in Germany sound more and more gloomy. The country is in danger of impoverishment and deindustrialization, and small and medium-sized businesses will suffer the most. citing sources, he reported US fears that Europe, under the influence of the energy crisis, would change its position towards Russia and Ukraine. Western countries faced rising energy prices and a surge in inflation due to the imposition of sanctions against Moscow and the policy of abandoning Russian fuel. Due to the rise in the price of fuel, primarily gas, industry in the West has largely lost its competitive advantages, which has also affected other sectors of the economy. Also, the United States and European states are facing inflation record for decades. President Vladimir Putin has previously said that the policy of containing and weakening Russia is a long-term strategy of the West, and sanctions have dealt a serious blow to the entire global economy. According to him, the main goal of the West is to worsen the lives of millions of people.
