File photoMOSCOW, Sep 16 Russian businessman and owner of the English Bournemouth Maxim Demin is in preliminary negotiations to sell the football club, Sky Sports reports. According to the publication, Demin may sell the club to American businessman Bill Foley, who owns the Vegas Golden Knights team of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Russian businessman acquired Bournemouth with Eddie Mitchell in 2011. In 2013, he became the sole owner of the club, and since 2019 — the sole shareholder. Last season, Bournemouth won a ticket to the top division of the English championship, in which they played from 2015 to 2020. In this championship of the English Premier League (EPL), the club with seven points after six matches is in 13th place.
