«The mission is tasked with assessing the current situation, preparing substantive report to heads of state— members of the CSTO on the situation in the region and the development of proposals for the de-escalation of the tensions that have arisen in certain areas on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan,» he said.

Zainetdinov added that the mission includes representatives of the CSTO member states, who are employees of the working bodies of the organization. They will study the situation on the border, and also hold meetings with the top political and military leadership of Armenia.
