The most obvious development of events today is the continuation of our usual life, when the Russian team gathers for friendly matches. UEFA has nothing against this for the simple reason that these meetings are not controlled by the Union. «Friendly matches are not part of UEFA competitions and fall outside the competence and responsibility of UEFA. Therefore, friendly matches do not contradict the decision of the UEFA executive committee to exclude Russian teams from participation in competitions,” this is the position of the organization. It was discussed especially sharply when some members of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed their opinion against holding a face-to-face friendly game with Russia.
