MOSCOW, 21 Sep. Regular physical education will help reduce the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle, traumatologist Alisher Zakhirov told the Gazeta.Ru portal. The specialist recommends spending 5-10 minutes every hour and a half on training. According to him, the consequences of a sedentary lifestyle can be quite serious: cervical osteochondrosis, heart disease, disorders of the nervous system, etc.
"You can also perform a set of exercises on the neck and shoulder girdle, relieve pain and tension after working day, to warm up for the hand and fingers, move the feet and a number of other exercises. Simple exercises will awaken muscles to contract, and this will have a positive effect on health", the doctor explained.
Zakhirov noted that it is also impossible to neglect sleep patterns. Sleep should be 7-9 hours. It is better not to use phones or tablets before going to bed to avoid unnecessary eye strain. The specialist recommended getting up and going to bed at the same time.
