MOSCOW, Sep 22 CSKA Moscow defeated UNICS Kazan in the opening match of the Super Bowl of the VTB United Basketball League. The meeting in Moscow ended with the score 76:71 (17:17, 20:11, 27:22, 12:21). Jalen Reynolds of UNICS was the top scorer of the match with 20 points. As part of the army team, Anton Astapkovich scored 18 points. The VTB United League Super Cup will last until September 25 with the participation of six teams — the four best clubs at the end of the last season: St. Petersburg Zenit, CSKA, UNICS and Krasnodar Lokomotiv, as well as Serbian teams » Mega Basket» and «Partizan». The teams are divided into two groups, the group stage meetings will be held on September 22-24, the matches for the fifth, third and first places will be held on September 25. The Super Cup was held for the first time last season, when CSKA became the winner.
