Tennis players were not on the court at that moment. The activist was wearing a T-shirt with the words «Enough private jets in the UK.» He sat down at the net, poured a flammable liquid onto the court, some of which fell on his hand, and raised the flame. The stewards managed to quickly put out the fire, and the offender himself was taken to the under-tribune room. A quick check by the officials showed that the playing surface had not been damaged. The meeting continued. The Laver Cup takes place in London from 23 to 25 September.
