MOSCOW, Sep 22 National Hockey League (NHL) club captain Washington Capitals» Russian Alexander Ovechkin said that he was not going to go into the shadows and take on the role of mentor of young players. «Not yet, I have a few more years on the contract. I always said that I would like to end my career on a high note. All- still four years left, that's a lot,» the Washington website quotes the 36-year-old forward. Ovechkin is a graduate of the Moscow Dynamo, in which he won the Gagarin Cup in 2013. In 2018, he won the Stanley Cup with Washington. The Russian, with 780 goals, is the third-best scorer in NHL history behind Gordie Howe (801) and Wayne Gretzky (894).
