The Department of the Investigative Committee for the Kaliningrad Region dismissed the case of repeated violations of the rules of rallies (212.1 of the Criminal Code) against local activist Yevgenia Fedulova. The girl's lawyer Maria Bontser told OVD-Info about this.
You can mow. Criminal cases under the «Dadin» article returned to the regions
Fedulova was detained and taken to the Investigative Committee in August 2021. The case under the “Dadinskaya” article was initiated against her for two pickets (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), which took place in August 2020, and two actions in support of Alexei Navalny, which took place in January and April 2021. For pickets, she was twice assigned 20 hours of compulsory work, and in January she was arrested for six days under the article on repeated violation of the rules for participating in a rally (part 8 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). The April action became the reason for initiating a criminal case. The court did not send the activist to a pre-trial detention center, considering that the investigation did not provide enough evidence that she could hide.
In February, the Third Court of Cassation of General Jurisdiction sent one of Fedulova's administrative cases for retrial. On September 6, the Kaliningrad Regional Court overturned the decision of the district court in this case.
