Eight-time USSR ice hockey champion Senyushkin dies at 85


MOSCOW, September 24 The 86th year of his life, according to the official website of the hockey club. «The CSKA hockey club mourns with the fans and relatives of the famous hockey player,» the message says. From 1953 to 1965, Senyushkin played for CSKA, and then for three years he played for Leningrad SKA. In total, the striker played 340 matches in the USSR championships, in which he scored 125 goals. The forward played for the youth, first and second national teams of the USSR. After completing his sports career, Senyushkin worked as a coach. From 1972 to 1974 he coached the Polish Legia.
