MOSCOW, Sep 24 Petr Pashchenko wins the sprint race at the Russian Summer Championship in biathlon, which takes place in Tchaikovsky. Pashchenko covered the distance of 10 km in 23 minutes 1.2 seconds, with one miss. The second place went to Roman Surnev (+12.5; 1 miss), the third was Kirill Bazhin (+21.6; 0). The women's sprint will take place later on Saturday. The stage in Tchaikovsky will end on September 27th. Russian and Belarusian biathletes compete at the tournament. Earlier, the Congress of the International Biathlon Union (IBU) decided to uphold the suspension of Russian and Belarusian athletes from international competitions until further notice.
