MOSCOW, Sep 24 Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal withdrew from the Laver Cup, which takes place in London, according to the tournament's Twitter. On Friday, Nadal, paired with the Swiss Roger Federer, who played the final match of his career, lost to Jack Sock and Francis Tiafoe from the USA with a score of 6:4, 6:7 (2:7), 9 :11. The Spanish tennis player refused to further participate in the tournament for personal reasons. Briton Cameron Norrie will replace him in the European national team. Nadal is 36 years old. He holds the record for most Grand Slams won in singles by a man (22). He is ranked third in the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings. The Laver Cup takes place in London from 23 to 25 September.
