MOSCOW, Sep 25 Israel beat Albania in the League group stage match nations and rose to the elite division of the tournament. Group 2 League B meeting was held in Tel Aviv and ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of the hosts. Shaun Weisman (46th minute) and Tai Baribo (90+2) scored goals in the winning team. The Albanians scored Murto Uzuni (88). The Israeli team scored 8 points in four matches and, taking first place in the group, advanced to League A. The second place is taken by the Icelandic team (3 points in three matches), the third is the Albanian team (1 point three matches). The Russian national team got into this group during the draw, but the team was suspended from participating in the tournament due to events in Ukraine. The Russians will be demoted in the division.
